We hope that you are delighted with your order from MDH Teamwear & Trophies and we pride ourselves on offering the highest level of quality and service through our in-house production facilities.
To help you correctly care for your new order, we have put together a series of garment care instructions.
Disclaimer
- All garments sold by MDH Teamwear & Trophies are made using high quality materials in strict quality control conditions. It should be noted that most fabrics will discolour due to staining by elements foreign to the materials used in the manufacturing process i.e. mud, grass & petroleum jelly.
- MDH Teamwear do not take any responsibility for damage to garments or lifting/discolouration of custom printing if the instructions/guidance below is not adhered to.
- In the unlikely circumstance where the guidelines have been adhered to and there are still problems with print lifting or discolouration, MDH Teamwear & Trophies will re-print on your garment at no extra cost up to 30 days after the date of invoice for your order.
- If the guidelines have not been followed, charges may apply if reprinting or repair work is required.
Cotton & Polyester Garment Care
ALL GARMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN CUSTOM PRINTED MUST BE WASHED INSIDE OUT AND WASHED AT NO MORE THAN 30°C REGARDLESS OF THE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS OF THE GARMENT.
General Care & Pre-Wash
- Avoid leaving kit folded or bundled together whilst damp or soiled after use.
- Soaking garments in warm water prior to washing is advised to help remove as much mud as possible and can help reduce discolouration; ensure that an equal amount of water by volume is used to that of the garments being soaked or washed.
- Especially with White or Pale Coloured items, the use of pre-wash soakers will further assist with the removal of stains
Washing & Drying Advice
- Do not overfill the washing machine with garments as if the ratio of water to garment is too small, dirt can easily be re-deposited and stained.
- Where garments have not been custom printed, careful adherence to the garment instructions will minimise the likelihood of staining or discolouration.
- We do not recommend the use of fabric conditioners or softeners on garments as this may cause a build-up of film on fibres that can prevent the washing process from penetrating filaments and dislodging dirt.
- Socks may benefit from such use and should be washed separately.
- Ensure that dark colours are washed separately in low temperatures of no more than 30°C.
- Rinse clothing thoroughly and hang to dry
- Cold iron and do not iron directly over applied custom printing.
Waterproof Garment Care
PLEASE NOTE THAT RAIN JACKETS THAT HAVE BEEN CUSTOM PRINTED MUST ONLY BE HAND WASHED AT A COLD TEMPERATURE.
- The removal of mud and stains should be carried out by wiping down with a damp cloth.
- Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron over custom printed decoration or fold when damp.
